Naomi Schademan
I am a life-long seeker who is passionate about sharing the techniques and teachings that facilitate my own growth, joy, and well-being. For five years, I lived at the Himalayan Institute’s main campus in Honesdale, PA, where I served as a karma yogi and trained for hundreds of hours in yoga, meditation, tantra, and ayurveda with HI faculty. Deeply honored to be a steward of the Himalayan Tradition, my classes draw from the teachings that have been passed on from my teachers and my own yoga practice and are devoted to connecting to the Divine within. I teach group and private yoga classes and workshops on yoga, ayurveda, yogic lifestyle, and Vishoka Meditation.
Testimonials
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients schedule a one-time, FREE 15-minute discovery call to discuss your goals for our sessions and land on a package that is best suited to your unique needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
An RYT 500-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher, I lived at the Himalayan Institute for five years, where I studied with world-class yoga teachers, developed a daily sadhana (spiritual practice), and cultivated a yogic lifestyle. I am also a certified Vishoka Meditation Teacher through the Himalayan Institute and received certification in Mindful Resilience Training for Trauma Recovery through the Veteran's Yoga Project.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I came to the path of yoga through meditation, which saints and sages of many traditions hail as the keystone practice for inner awakening. Teaching unfolded naturally as a result of my love for daily practice.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have gotten to work with women in early recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, beginner students of yoga, clients at Pure Rejuv Wellness Center, and guests of the Himalayan Institute from around the world.
